1 pkg kabalsa

1 pkg instant potatoes prepared or homemade if your prefer

shredded cheese for topping
Cut kabalsa into 4-6 pieces. Slice open like a hot dog bun. Fill with mashed potatoes and top with shredded cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and serve.

My friends and I found a recipe for these when we were in college. I cook a lot of more complex meals now, and my MIL and SIL say they won't cook for me, that it's too intimidating, but I always reference this! It's a good reminder to them that I think a good meal comes from something simple just as easily as something more complex. Only we call them sausage boats!
I think for kids especially simple is better. I like your name better though and it helps kids to eat things when the have enticing names.
